Professor Jorda received the 1996 Jefferson Medal of the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association, the United States’ highest honor in intellectual property, for his “extraordinary contributions to the U.S. intellectual property law system.” Professor Jorda has participated in World Intellectual Property Organization symposia around the world and has served as a consultant to both the Indonesian and Bulgarian Patent Offices. Prior to joining Pierce Law, Professor Jorda was head of intellectual property at CIBA-GEIGY for 26 years.
