Jack D. Slobod - Biography:
JACK D. SLOBOD is presently Senior Director, IP Licensing and Principal Attorney, Philips Intellectual Property & Standards. He has global management responsibility for licensing-out patent rights of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V. Mr. Slobod has led numerous licensing negotiations and also managed IP litigations in U.S., Europe and Asia. He was formerly lead U.S. IP counsel for various product divisions of Philips and participated as team member in numerous merger and acquisition matters. Mr. Slobod has also taught Intellectual Property Law at the Philips IP Academy at Fudan University, Shanghai, PRC. He holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering from The City University of New York, and a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University, where he was Order of the Coif. He is a member of the bar of the State of New York and registered to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
