The Intellectual Property Library services the needs of the students, faculty and members of the Law Center Library.  It fills requests nationally for interlibrary loans through the OCLC service.  Services are also available for a fee for all others requesting intellectual property information. Services include document delivery, reference and research.

Professor Cavicchi provides research instruction to both J.D. and M.I.P. students through an introductory Legal Skills course and a nationally unique Intellectual Property Research Tools course which teaches the multiple access points for primary and secondary legal authority as well as patent, trademark and copyright searching.  Representatives from the major Intellectual Property database producers visit the class and provide the most up to date information and training available on these online and CD-ROM products.
