25. Gas-Carbureter (Apparatus for carburating or enriching common illuminating gas), U. S. Patent 226,820, April 20, 1880, Henry J. Ferguson, New York, New York

This invention is a device for vaporizing hydrocarbons with either illuminating gas to enrich it, or with air to provide an appropriate gas to burn.

The model is 13" x 6" x 10". It is made of brass, iron, and a gray metal that may be iron treated so it would not rust. There are two O. Rundle Gilbert auction tags dated June 27, 1978. The model is in good condition.
